Molecular Nutrition, a research and development company in the sports nutrition industry, today announced that it has signed a distribution deal with General Nutrition Centers (GNC) for its latest product, X-Factor Advanced. The agreement names GNC as the exclusive nationwide distributor of X-Factor Advanced, which is poised to be the company’s flagship product.

X-Factor Advanced is based on Molecular Nutrition’s patented muscle-building supplement arachidonic acid (ARA). A clinical study published in 2006 demonstrated a 600% increase in peak muscle power, and strong trends of improvement in bench press strength, average muscle power, and muscle endurance when this nutrient was taken by a group of experienced weightlifters for 50 days. The X-Factor Advanced formula contains several new ingredients designed to enhance the bioavailability and effectiveness of ARA.
