Molecular Nutrition, a research and development company in the sports nutrition industry, today announced that it has signed a distribution deal with General Nutrition Centers (GNC) for its latest product, X-Factor Advanced. The agreement names GNC as the exclusive nationwide distributor of X-Factor Advanced, which is poised to be the company’s flagship product.
X-Factor Advanced is based on Molecular Nutrition’s patented muscle-building supplement arachidonic acid (ARA). A clinical study published in 2006 demonstrated a 600% increase in peak muscle power, and strong trends of improvement in bench press strength, average muscle power, and muscle endurance when this nutrient was taken by a group of experienced weightlifters for 50 days. The X-Factor Advanced formula contains several new ingredients designed to enhance the bioavailability and effectiveness of ARA.
William Llewellyn, CEO of Molecular Nutrition, said, “I am very excited to announce this agreement. By partnering with GNC, the largest specialty retailer of nutritional supplements, we are able to introduce our highly effective technology to a much larger audience of dedicated athletes and fitness enthusiasts. I am also confident it will enable us to expand the clinical validation of this groundbreaking supplement, with new studies examining its use in a variety of different sporting activities.”
